I had planned to do a little write-up on the cool schwag I scored as part of my birthday haul yesterday, but I’ve spent most of my day today in an exhausted stupor. So, I point you, instead, to my wp.com blog where you can find my semi-regular post-surgery updates – cuz, yeah, that’s all I’ve got today.
I don’t get it. I played Marathon: Durandal for quite a little while yesterday and experienced zero ill effects. Motion sickness? From a video game? Ok, I have a somewhat weak stomach, but this just seems downright silly.

Word’s out today that a couple of the characters from Heroes last season may not, in fact, actually be dead. It’s doubtful that this will be enough to bring me back to watch Season 2 – I still think the writing near the end of the first season was pretty lousy. But it is interesting that Kring has provided an ‘out’ for these characters. I’ll probably sit back and listen to reviews. If they end up being positive enough, maybe I’ll catch up.

The final Harry Potter book was frickin’ awesome! It confirmed several theories I’ve had and threw in some additional twists.
I suddenly remember why I love the ‘float’ command in CSS so much. It makes everything better.
I can’t wait to get my own copy of Deathly Hallows. It’s going to be difficult and annoying trying to avoid spoilers of the book until I do. I think it’s really quite rude and aggravating when people who are able to rush out and grab the book and read it immediately then proceed to post as many spoilers as they can within hours of the book’s release. It makes it much harder for those of us who wish to find out what happens on our own to keep the ending a surprise. At least, though, all the spoilers I’ve noticed have had the spoiler warning in the title so I’ve been able to skip right past.
